We’re excited to partner with Undugu Farms for the first time. If you’re looking for a clean, classic Kenyan coffee, this is the one to reach for.
Grown at high elevations in Meru County, this SL28- and K7-based lot from Kathendu Estate offers a balanced, structured cup with bright acidity and a creamy mouthfeel. Vibrant notes of cherry and blueberry lead into a subtle brown sugar sweetness, finishing with delicate floral aromatics.
SL28, developed in Kenya in the 1930s by Scott Agricultural Laboratories, is widely regarded for its complex, fruit-forward cup profile and adaptability to high-altitude growing conditions. K7, selected in 1936, is valued for its resistance to coffee berry disease and its Bourbon lineage, contributing depth and body to the cup.
Kathendu Estate has cultivated coffee for decades, with a focus on meticulous agronomy and processing to maintain cup consistency. This AB lot showcases the care and precision that define Kenyan specialty coffee.
