We’re excited to feature, for the first time, an incredible coffee from this beautiful farm in Costa Rica. This is a pre-roast blend of all this farmer's varieties and processing methods and beautifully captures the flavours this producer is going for.
Owned and operated by the Ramirez-Navarro family, their story begins with Mr. Alexis Ramirez, a lifelong farmer whose passion for the land and dedication to agriculture continues to guide them every day. Though Mr. Alexis passed away a few years ago, his vision and values remain the heart of their work — inspiring them to preserve and grow the family legacy he built with such care.
The fermentation process is as follows:
1. Fruit picking
2. Cherries rest in plastic containers without oxygen for 4 days
3. Sun dried for approximately 30 days
4. Stored in parchment until preparation for export
